Extension Programs ESL Special Needs Assessment Reporting

ESL (English as a Second Language)

We have an ESL program which supports children who have English as a Second Language to learn English and be able to successfully access the curriculum.

All classroom teachers play a vital role in the ESL program. The ESL teacher is a resource person who can assist the classroom teacher. Both teachers are involved in co-planning to meet the specific needs of students.

The ESL teacher maintains contact with parents to assist them in understanding the learning process and class program arrangements.
