Casual Teaching Information 2008.

Giralang PS is situated behind the Giralang Shops.  The car park behind the service station is where teachers leave their cars.

Please try to arrive at Giralang PS as close to  8.30 am as is possible.

Timetable

School begins at 9am
Recess occurs at 11am
Lunch begins at 1pm (Please surpervise your class for the first ten minutes)
The day finishes at 3pm.  Bus children leave classes at 2.55pm.

Photocopying

The front office staff will give you a code for using the school photocopier.
Playground Duty.

All teachers have the playground roster close to their desks. There is also a copy in the staffroom.

Behaviour Management Process

The following process is in line with the school's behaviour management plan, for managing incidents within the classroom:

• In class warnings
• In class time-out
• Buddy class time-out
• Executive staff

Medical Information

Children with specific medical problems are identified in the staffroom area with photographs.  All children requiring first aid will need to be sent to the front office.

Canteen

Food is available from the school canteen on Thursday and Friday each week.
